Ubon and press visit
Description
Coverage of 79 Squadron RAAF at Ubon Thailand in the ealy period when the squadron had just been formed. Show CAC Sabres armed with Sidewinder infrared heat seeking missiles on tarmac and ground crew. Pilots preforming pre flight checks, posing for the camera, briefing and take offs. Identified are Wing Commander Hubble, Flight Lieutenant D M Johnston and Flying Officer C S Viertel. The ground support staff setting up tent accommodation, moving stores and mess parade.
