Trooping the colours by the Royal Welch Regiment, Eta Jima
Description
At Eta Jima on 3 April 1946, Lieutenant General J Northcott CB MVO, Commander in Chief BCOF, took the salute at a marchpast during the ceremony of trooping the colours by the Royal Welch Regiment. The parade was led, traditionally, by the Regimental mascot - a billy goat. Many spectators, including nurses and staff of 130 Australian General Hospital, watched the ceremony.
