Arrival of first contingent of the Australian Army Nursing Service. Native sing-sing, Jaquinot Bay
Description
On 24 February 1945 the first contingent of the Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) arrived at Jacquinot Bay on the troopship "Katoomba". This item covers the arrival of the "Katoomba" and a few shots of the AANS who were with 105 Casualty Clearing Station (105 CCS). The balance of the item is a coverage of a native "sing sing".
