Sadil Bahir
Description
The fort at Sadil Bahir. This was the scene of the British landings on 25th April 1915 but also the site of previous bombardments by allied warships which alerted the Turks to the likelihood of an invasion. Pugh was appointed official war artist for the 75th Anniversary of the Gallipoli landing at Anzac Cove in 1990.
