The Sphinx
Description
On the way to Plugg's Plateau looking across towards the Sphinx. Over this ground the Australians climbed and fought on the morning of 25th April, 1915 heading for the ridge on the horizon. View of The Sphinx rising above Anzac Cove 75 years after the Landing. Sheer drops of unexpected crevasses terrified the painter.
