A.M.C. on fire
Description
Armed Merchant Cruiser (ex Blue Funnel Liner) on fire and sitting on Colombo Harbour bottom as the result of a Japanese air-raid a day or so previously. Smoke fills the right side of the image. Drawn from H.M.T. Duntroon out in anchorage. The other vessels in the Harbour are a Dutch submarine mother-ship and H.M.T. Katoomba.
