HMAS Hobart - Beirut
Description
This sketch of a small section of Beirut was made when ships of the 7th Cruiser Squadron (H.M.S 'Ajax' and Neptune and H.M.A.S 'Hobart'), visited the port to embark English troops for Alexandria. At one of the wharves are two British sweepers. In the foreground is one of 'Hobart's' sets of 4-inch guns, Beirut, Syria.
