Timber clearing, Fish River dam
Description
Workers clearing timber, including a man in the foreground chopping at a tree trunk with an axe. Two workers appear beside him while several men perform the same tasks in the background. McClintock utilises social realism as a means to facilitate the viewer's appreciation of the co-operation between workers.
