Hulk of "Voyager", Betano
Description
HMAS Voyager became grounded on a sandbank at Betano Bay when landing Australian commando troops on Timor in 1942. It became impossible to shift her, charges were exploded aboard and she was set on fire. Any light moveable gear was handed to the commando force.
