Description
Depicts a self portrait caricature in hospital pyjamas and walking stick in the grounds of Maudsley Hospital. Vasco appears to also be wearing a red silk tie, which according to articles about him was part of his usual garb. The work has been drawn on Australian Red Cross writing paper that was given to soldiers when they arrived in hospital in order to write their families and friends.
