A ship is built
Description
An impression of an early stage in the building of a 10,000 ton Liberty vessel - at Williamstown Dock. Workmen are hammering and revetting on the top of the double bottoms. In the mid-ship section, the frames (sides) are being placed into position. Further aft another crane is placing new scaffolding ready for the work on the stern, Melbourne.
