A.N.G.A.U. natives resting
Description
Papuans being cared for in a camp administration by the Australian and New Guinea Administration Unit (ANGAU) and employed by that authority. Both male and female were being employed in this area for clearing the jungle for Army camp sites. The women were considered to be better workers than the men.
