Description
A cartoon-style image depicting the UK's patriotic symbol John Bull standing at the bow of a small boat ("New Methods"). He is levelling a harpoon at the water below, swarming with metallic submarine-like sharks - several of which he has already targeted. John Bull is the national personification of the United Kingdom, but has come to mainly identify England.
