Building ships: ship-yard seen from a crane
Description
Depicts a view of the Clyde Shipyards, Glasgow, seen from a crane working on the site. The six 'Building Ships' lithographs are based on Bone's drawings in the Clyde yards. These are reproduced in 'The Western Front: Drawings by Muirhead Bone' II, X. This work is no 33 in the series of 66 lithographs 'The Great War: Britain's efforts and ideals' published by the British Ministry of Information, London, 1917.
