PPSh 41 Sub-machine Gun : North Vietnamese Forces
Description
PPSh 41 Sub-machine Gun. Missing the magazine. The barrel is stamped 5495 and held to the receiver by two Russian cartridge cases marked 1941 that act as a hinge pin. The receiver is stamped O/626 1953 and the serial number. The stock is wood and does not have a butt plate.

This weapon was captured at the Battle of Long Tan on the 18th of August 1966 by 6 Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment.
