Imperial German Army Officer's Sword and Scabbard
Description
Imperial German Army Officer's Sword and Scabbard. The brass hilt has a P shape stirrup guard and back strap with an oak leaf design. The black horn grip is bound with brass wire. The slightly curved nickel plated blade has a single fuller on both sides to 240 mm from the double edge spear point. The steel black painted scabbard has a single loose ring on a band 70 mm from the throat.
