Description
Hitler Youth Badge. Lozenge shape. Obverse: A black swastika on a field of red, top and bottom, and white on the left and right. Reverse: Plain. stamped 'RZM' within a circle and 'M1/120' with a small vertical brooch pin.
History / Summary
Worn on the left pocket of a uniform shirt and on the jacket lapel collar, in civilian dress, by members of the Hitler Youth organisation. This badge is part of a collection of Second World War German orders, decorations, badges and insignia acquired by Flight Lieutenant K G Hesketh, RAAF Historical Records Section, who was based in London, but who made a number of visits to Germany immediately after the Second World War.
