Machine gun Armoured Shield (Japan)
Description
Japanese infantry shield consisting of an armoured steel plate 11 3/4" x 12", with two points on the base for digging in the ground, with a recess at top right for a rifle or light machine gun. On the back is a carrying handle to which is attached a forked spike for holding the shield upright. Spike at rear is very hard to move.
