OUTDOOR PORTRAIT OF 414333 FLIGHT SERGEANT WILLIAM JOHN ARMOUR, RAAF. ARMOUR LATER BECAME A PILOT OFFICER AND WAS AWARDED THE DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS (DFC). WHILE ON A MISSION IN A HALIFAX BOMBER WITH 428 SQUADRON RCAF HE WAS SHOT DOWN OVER GERMANY AND PRESUMED KILLED ON 20 DECEMBER 1943.
