Typed transcription of the diary kept by 423099 Warrant Officer (WO) Edward James John (Ted) Gore who served with 458 Squadron RAAF during the Second World War. There are daily entries spanning the period 24 August 1942 just prior to his departure overseas, to 3 November 1945 when he arrived back in Australia. Includes appendices of the list of stations, bases and places visited by WO Gore, list of operational sorties, list of unit numbers and locations, a page of information on 458 Squadron RAAF from the AWM website, and one page of an illustration with information about the Vickers Armstrong Wellington from a private RAF bomber command website. The transcription was typed by Mr David Irons in 2005, is 91 pages in length, and has been spiral bound.
