An aerial view of the British Army hilltop outpost at Platian Mapu, in the West Brigade in Sarawak. The old outpost, in the centre of the photograph, was attacked by Indonesian forces in April 1965. A new site for the outpost is under construction, centre left of the photograph. The Indonesian border is on the top of the ridge to the right.
