Transcript of a diary relating to the First World War service of 1586 Private Verner Gladders Knuckey, 2nd Squadron, Australian Flying Corps. The original diary was kept by Private Knuckey between 18 May 1918 and 29 October 1918. In the diary, Private Knuckey describes the August Offensives carried out by the Allies and recounts the moment he heard that the armistice had been signed.
