Letters from the New Zealand High Commission and The Gallipoli Legion, 1947-1948
Description
Letters relating to the First World War service of 202 Private John Simpson Kirkpatrick, 3rd Field Ambulance. The letters were written by the New Zealand High Commission to Mrs Annie Pearson [nee Kirkpatrick] on 9 September 1947 and 16 September 1948. The letters concern portraits of her brother, John Simpson, and a request by the Gallipoli Legion of Anzacs to lay a wreath on Anzac Day in memory of her brother.
