Description

Letter relating to the First World War service of 1032 Regimental Quarter Master Sergeant Ernest William Baker, Australian Navy and Military Expeditionary Force (AN&MEF) and 20th Battalion. The letter was written by 588 Lieutenant William Adolphus Jones, 20th Battalion to Mr and Mrs Baker on 23 September 1916. In the letter he thanks Mr and Mrs Baker for sending him a letter and provides brief news of Sergeant Baker's actions whilst in the trenches.
