Studio portrait of SX22740 Sapper (Spr) Hurtle William Rehn, 2/8 Field Company. Spr Rehn, from Tailem Bend, SA enlisted in July 1942 and served to January 1946. His older brother NX48495 Private Les Rehn died when the Japanese transport Rakuyo Maru was torpedoed and sunk in the South China Sea (see P10703.001)
