Description
This drawing depicts a Somali women on her hands and knees on stoney ground wearing a head scarf. She is collecting firewood right next to unexploded ordnance which are to be detonated by Australian soldiers. Because the group of women would not leave without their firewood, the soldiers assisted them in collecting it so as to get them away safely from the explosives.
