366 page manuscript. The manuscript provides basic information on over 500 soldiers, sailors and airmen associated with the shire of Metcalfe during the Second World War. Includes photographs, certificates, newspaper clippings, letters, and pamphlets associated with some of the servicemen. The manuscript consists of eighteen chapters providing contextual information for the servicemen and the shire, and breaking up the nominal roll by various themes. Appendices consist of a Nominal Roll based on district, and a surname index.
