Studio portrait of two unidentified British prisoners of war (POW). Both are wearing Corporal rank stripes. The handwritten note on the reverse of the image reads: "Yours sincerely T S Peasly [?] 85 Allison Road, Harringay, London N." and is addressed to "Sgt W C Groves." One of a series of 157 images from the collection of 4199 Sergeant William Charles Groves, 14th Battalion, an Australian prisoner of war held at Güstrow POW camp in Germany.
