Description
An album containing 31 x E Series Official photographs relating to the First World War - 'Post Card Album'. The album belonged to 104 Corporal Herrmann Topp, A Squadron, 2nd Light Horse Regiment, of Lillydale, Qld. A farmer prior to enlistment, he embarked for Gallipoli from Brisbane, Qld aboard HMAT Star of England (A15) on 24 September 1914. He then served in France with 4th Pioneer Battalion and returned to Australia as a Lieutenant.
