Manuscript titled 'From What I Can Remember', compiled by 17544 Lieutenant-Colonel Douglas Harold Yeats. Includes photographs and narrative on his life and experiences in Britain, including time served with the British forces during the Second World War, and his subsequent migration to Australia and enlistment in the Australian Military Forces in 1948. Retiring from the Australian Army in 1980, Lieutenant-Colonel Yeats had served in BCOF, Korea the Malayan Emergency, and Vietnam.
