There are two angled breast pockets and one on the upper left arm with a vertical opening, all closed with brass zippers. The arm pocket also has two small pen pockets stitched to its face as well as a clip on white metal holder for two pens. Two more pockets are located on the thighs, one (proper right) with a horizontal brass zippered opening and a suede covered spring clip to hold a map, and one (proper left) with a vertical zippered opening. There is a further pocket on each calf with a horizontal zipper closing.
The ankles of the suit have vertical zipper fastenings and there is a vertical zipper at each side of the waist for ventilation and access. The waist and cuffs are adjustable by means of cotton tabs with brass press stud fastenings, three studs on each side of the waist and on each sleeve. The shoulder straps are also secured by press studs. A white printed label inside the back neck reads, 'A.G.C.F. VIC. 1983 [broad arrow symbol] SIZE 3 8415-66-013-1567'.
