Supplement to 'Boomerang'
'Boomerang' was a wartime newsletter containing letters and news relating to Victorian Railways employees who were serving in the Second World War. It was a means of updating colleagues on each others progress as well as events of the Railways in their absence. 'Supplement to Boomerang' is a compilation of wartime accounts of the 29 staff of the Secretary's Branch of the Victorian Railways who served during the 1939-1945 war. The majority of accounts are in the form of personal narratives. One of the personal accounts is by Kenneth Albert Richards, DFC & bar, No. 3 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force. A few of the accounts have been gathered from old letters, etc. The manuscript itself is a bound scanned copy of the original and a CD of the same (in MS Word and PDF format) is included.
