Composite group portrait of a father and three sons, from Kojonup, WA, all of whom enlisted in the AIF. From left: 3188 Private (Pte) Francis Victor Norrish, 48th Battalion; Lieutenant John William Norrish, 10th Light Horse Regiment (father); 3308 Pte Joseph William Norrish, 10th Light Horse Regiment, (later Lieutenant, 10th Battalion); 3307 Trooper Raymond Richard Norrish, 10th Light Horse Regiment. Raymond Norrish died of pulmonary tuberculosis in Abbassia, Egypt, on 31 December 1917, aged 19. His father, Lieutenant John Norrish, returned to Australia in 1918; his brothers, in 1919.
