Description
Outdoor portrait of 22852 Stoker William Henry Garnett standing beside an HMAS Cerberus sundial which features the mythical three-headed dog, Cerberus, and a ship's rope. Stoker Garnett enlisted in the RAN on 7 February 1939. Later serving as a Leading Stoker on HMAS Sydney, Garnett was killed in action when the ship was sunk in the Indian Ocean by the German auxiliary cruiser Kormoran on 20 November 1941.
