Studio portrait of 2725 Private (Pte) Clement Joseph McGrath, 18th Battalion, of Yass, NSW. A labourer prior to enlisting in July 1915, Pte McGrath embarked from Sydney with the 6th Reinforcements on board HMAT Euripides (A14) on 2 November 1915. On 15 April 1916, Pte McGrath died at Bois Grenier, Armentieres, France, of wounds received in action. He was 20 years of age.
