Outdoor portrait of 727 Private (Pte) John McCorkell and family at Langwarrin camps, Vic, when the 5th Contingent was in training there. Pte John McCorkell, served with the Victorian Mounted Rifles (5th Contingent) during the Boer War. On 21 January 1902 Pte McCorkell died of enteric fever at Wakkerstroom, South Africa.
