Aircraft clock
Description
8-day aircraft clock Mk II C. The clock is housed in a round, black metal casing with a rectangular base. The black dial is marked in luminous paint with the numbers '1' through to '12', and minute graduations. There are two pairs of hands, one red and the other white. The maker's details on the dial are '8 DAY Mk II C 66A 800194'. The clock has a glass face with a winding mechanism in the centre. There is a second mechanism at the 8 o'clock position. On the side of the casing are the numbers 'X32870/2' and 'NF-56-(1)'. Stamped on the base is a crown and the letters 'AM'.
