Description
Souvenir program from a concert held during the First World War. This program is for a benefit concert held in aid of the National Belgian Relief Fund held at Her Majesty's Theatre in Sydney on 14 May 1915. The concert featured singing and theatre with performances of 'The man who stayed at home' and 'Bardell v. Pickwick'. Miss Amy Castles was featured as one of the performers and the finale was 'The spirit of Belgium rising from the Ruins of Louvain.' The program featured an insert of family photographs of the Belgian royal family.
