Morning ablutions (Maliana)
Description
Morning ablutions (Maliana) shows the soldiers in their morning routine, making do as they shave using their tin mugs and truck rear-vision mirrors. The base at Maliana was in an old disused school building, where all amenities were temporary; the soldiers had no toilet facilities and had to use bush showers.
