Unidentified crew members with their tripod mounted Vickers .303 machine gun Mark I. These guns were first supplied by Britain to Australian troops and were used during the First World War. From 1929, they were produced in Australia at Lithgow, NSW. These guns saw service throughout the Second World War and Korean War and remained in service with Australian armed forces until the early 1960s.
