Blocking positions were allocated to these two soldiers from 8 Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment during a search and destroy operation in the Shoalwater Bay training area, north of Rockhampton, Qld. Privates Alan Dyson (left), of Toronto, NSW and Don Henderson, of Henley Beach, Adelaide, are taking part in exercise Noisy Pitta, designed to train them for service in Malaysia later this year.
