Studio portrait of 4739 Private (Pte) Guy Moore, 23rd Battalion, of North Carlton, Vic. A driver prior to enlistment, Pte Moore left Melbourne for France with the 12th Reinforcements aboard HMAT Euripides (A14) on 4 April 1916. He was killed in action on 14 November 1916. Pte Moore has no known grave and ihis name is recorded on the Villers-Bretonneux Memorial, France.
