Portrait of VX26323 Private (Pte) William Patrick McGeorge, 2/3 Machine Gun Battalion, of Traralgon, Vic. Prior to enlistment in June 1940, Pte McGeorge was employed as a labourer in Traralgon, Vic. He was killed in action in Syria on 12 June 1941, aged 36.
