Description
Souvenir program for a theatrical performance held during the period after the First World War when troops were waiting to return to Australia. This program is for several plays performed at the National Academy of Music and Dance in Paris from 23 to 28 June 1919. The plays included Thais, La Damnation de Faust, Samson and Dalila and Salammbo. This program is written in French with advertisements for products such as make-up and furniture. The front cover is decorated with women posed to suggest music and dance.
