Description
Collection relating to service of Lieutenant Henry Allen, 3 Battalion, Lone Pine, 1915. A typewritten condolence letter written on 20 October 1915 by Brigadier General N. M. Smyth, to Allen's mother describing his fatal wounding at Lone Pine, 7 August 1915.
History / Summary
Allen also served with the Scottish Rifles and Scottish Horse in the Boer War.
