In the mess at Saganosek
Description
Allied prisoners of war eat from Red Cros parcels in the mess at Saganosek prisoner of war camp near Nagasaki. Identified holding his slouch hat at left is NX71143 Captain Richard (Dick) Parker of Rose Bay, NSW, who was captured in Malaya whilst serving with the 2/10th Field Ambulance in December 1941.
