To my dear wife
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features a central pink banner with the message "To my dear wife", bordered in one corner with half of the Union Jack and surrounded by three two-toned pink flowers. Branches with small flowers attached also feature in the design as does a pink butterfly with one wing composed from the Union Jack.
