History / Summary

Crowley was chiefly responsible for the 39th's book 'To Kokoda and Beyond". He discusses his experiences at Sanandana, the 49th at Sanandana, Japanese positions, Symington's A Company path into Kokoda, C Company positions at Kokoda, assessment by Porter of 30 Brigade Battalions, training prior to Kokoda, distibution of AIF into the Militia and impression of Cameron.
