Description
Informal portrait of 1105 Private Keith Robert Slade, 12th Light Horse Regiment, of Armidale, NSW. He enlisted on 4 July 1915 and embarked from Sydney, NSW, aboard HMAT Thermistocles on 5 October 1915. He returned to Australia, sick, on 30 December 1916 aboard HMAT Ayrshire, and re-embarked from Sydney, NSW with the Camel Corps aboard RMS Morea on 17 February 1917. He returned to Australia aboard HMAT Dongola on 24 July 1919.
