Description
Grave of 364 Sergeant (Sgt) Duncan Farquhar Grant Bain, of the 10th Light Horse Regiment and Guildford West, WA (originally of Inverness, Scotland). On 17 February 1915 Sgt Bain embarked from Fremantle, WA, on HMAT Surada (A52); on 16 May 1915 he proceeded to Gallipoli after training in Egypt. Sgt Bain was killed in action at Walker's Ridge on 7 August 1915, and is buried at Ari Burnu Cemetery.
